From 30 October to 3 November 2019
Thanks to its coastal location and expansive waterways system, Fort Lauderdale in Florida is known as the “Yachting Capital of the World”.
For five days from October 30, Fort Lauderdale will host the 60th Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, or FLIBS for short. Show exhibits range from yacht builders and designers to exotic cars and brokerage yachts in seven locations that cover over three million square feet of space.
Heesen Yachts enjoys a close relationship with its U.S. clients and has long exhibited at FLIBS. We hope you can join us on our stand (stand number 2 at the Superyacht village) to discuss new projects, or just for an informal catch-up.
Superyacht Village will be located at Pier Sixty-Six Hotel & Marina’s new “Pier South” property, which is adjacent to the southeast corner of the 17th Street Causeway bridge – the gateway to the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
Vida on display
We are proud to present to you Vida, she will make her début as world premiere at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
Efficiency and cruising ability were key criteria for the development of the 55m Steel’s hull, and Heesen’s longstanding association with Van Oossanen Naval Architects means Vida gains maximum benefit from the Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF) design. Powered by twin MTU 8V 4000 M63 engines, Vida’s top speed of 16.0 knots puts favoured bays within easy reach, while her FDHF hull allows for an impressive 4,500 nautical mile range at a cruising speed of 13 knots, opening up a vast array of opportunities for global cruising.
