Commercial Success: Heesen sells Agnetha: A 55m Steel Class Blue-Water Motor Yacht
|
Heesen Yachts is delighted to announce the sale of YN 20955 MY Agnetha. Ian Harris, of Phoenix Yacht Management from Dubai, introduced the client.
Ian Harris, CEO of Phoenix Yacht Management, comments: “We are truly excited to have finalised this sale. We understand the quality that the Heesen 55m platform provides, and we know it will suit our client’s vision of life on the water. As well as being suited for private use, she is also an excellent option for charter.”
The sale follows Agnetha’s transition from the Netherlands to the South of France where she has been showcased in owner-ready condition. Heesen partnered with lifestyle brands, including Molteni & C, Technogym, Frette, Oliver Treutlein, Glancy Fawcett, the Wool Company to allow clients to immerse themselves in the full potential of the vessel. Artwork from Lyki and Tartarelli Art Gallery completed the atmosphere on board.
The 55-metre platform perfectly combines personal space and well thought out communal areas. Thanks to her sturdy steel hull and expert Dutch craftsmanship, she can comfortably cross the oceans and is compact enough to access the charming ports of the Mediterranean.
On her maiden voyage from Holland to Monaco, Agnetha navigated a full spectrum of weather conditions—from calm seas to challenging swells. Under expert crew management, the yacht was thoroughly tested across multiple sea states and performed exceptionally well. Captain Mike Rouse commented: “Her sea-keeping ability was impressive, maintaining stability and comfort throughout. The vessel passed through critical maritime routes with confidence, showcasing Heesen’s engineering excellence. From propulsion to onboard systems, everything operated flawlessly. This delivery not only proved the yacht’s resilience but also affirmed her readiness for luxury cruising. A remarkable debut for a world-class superyacht.”
Agnetha accommodates twelve guests across six opulent staterooms, including a spacious master on the main deck. Her carefully planned layout makes her perfect for charters and clients who prefer multiple cabins.
Beneath the skin, this yacht is a feat of engineering, delivering exceptional performance. Her ultra-efficient and comfortable Fast Displacement hull, combined with two MTU8V4000 M63 (IMO Tier III) engines, enables her to achieve a top speed of 15.5 knots.
Ruud van der Stroom, Heesen CCO, comments: “The completion of this sale marks the end of a successful Monaco Yacht Show of the Heesen new era. It demonstrates our belief that our brand is best presented in person on the water. It has been a pleasure to work with Ian Harris of Phoenix Yacht Management and his team. We are proud to be able to deliver a superyacht that is truly turn-key”.
For any potential purchasers who missed out on the opportunity to own Agnetha, her sister-ship Frida is under construction and available for delivery in December 2025.
