YN 21655 Project Jackie
Delivery: Q2 2028First impressions
Jackie draws on everything her sisterships have taught us. A true blue-water motor yacht, she combines a robust Dutch steel hull with excellent seakeeping in all sea conditions, for ocean-going passages in comfort.
Yet she remains compact enough to reach all the charming ports of the Mediterranean, with generous volume on every deck.
Tenders are carried on the foredeck and the water toys have a garage of their own, so launch and recovery are easy and take place out of sight. The crew can work while the guests simply relax. Aft, the infinity pool is framed by a grand staircase on each side, so guests arriving by tender are welcomed in style. Above it, the massive sundeck is fitted with windbreakers, so that this space can be fully enjoyed underway as well as at anchor.
The refinements throughout, from larger windows to a reworked deck layout, answer what owners have asked for. We have taken the time to resolve each one with care, and the 55 metres is the ideal platform on which to enjoy life at sea.
Step Aboard
Twelve guests are accommodated in six staterooms, in a layout that gives everyone a private retreat and the family generous places to meet. The wheelhouse deck is home to the enlarged VIP suite, and generous windows with fewer mullions open the main saloon and skylounge to the sea. The latter is a family room in the fullest sense, where one can play cards, talk at the bar or watch television, all in the same company.
The interior plays light against dark. Polished rosewood, leather and teak lend an exotic richness, and the cabins are dressed in chocolate, cinnamon and almond milk, warm tones that are welcoming and soothing. The marbles follow the same tones, down to the Cristallo of the day heads, which has the look of ice. Comfort here is meant to be experienced with all the senses, so texture matters: polished wood against soft leather, fabrics that catch the light, surfaces that absorb sound underfoot and overhead. Throughout, space itself is the luxury.
