We are thrilled to announce that Heesen Yachts will be partnering with Barbara Paci Art Gallery during the Superyacht Gallery exhibition taking place at the Saatchi Gallery in London, from June 1-3, 2017.
Heesen Yachts invited Barbara Paci Art Gallery from Pietrasanta, Italy, to shape an interpretation of Project Maia, the new 50m displacement with exterior lines by Clifford Denn and interiors by Reymond Langton.
Barbara Paci commissioned the work to two contemporary artists who not only share with us the love for shipbuilding, but above all consistently aim to showcase two key elements at the core of their artistic investigation: metal and water.
Michelangiolo Bastiani’s work includes interactive videos, projections, and holograms all highlighting a water theme.
Alessandro Busci, painter and architect, explores the exchange between western and eastern iconographic traditions on unconventional supports like steel, copper, and aluminium treated with acid and enamels.
Busci and Bastiani recently paid visit to the Heesen shipyard in Oss with Barbara Paci herself, in order to gain full insight of Project Maia, the 50m yacht that is inspiring their work.
Join Heesen and Barbara Paci at the Saatchi Gallery from June 1 to 3, 2017 and discover Project Maia seen through the eyes of two international artists who share with Heesen the love for the sea, technology, and beauty.
