Elena - 2014

47m Steel

Home away from home

Elena 47-metre full displacement belongs to a breed of Heesen’s that are icons of classic contemporary yacht design. Moreover she is one of the newly styled vessels in this award‐winning class. M/Y Elandess, M/Y Blind Date and M/Y Lady Petra (built for the founder of the shipyard) received the prestigious Neptune trophy at the World Superyacht Awards.

First impressions

The 47-metre series is known for its outdoor spaces, devoting almost 185 square metres to exterior decks. Book Ends’ cosy bow seating area is the owners’ preferred place for sunsets, cigars and Mediterranean vistas, but the pièce de résistance is the sprawling sundeck. Taking up 83 square metres, it features a spa pool forward surrounded by sunpads, loose lounging chairs, a bar to port and a large seating area aft. Versatile in nature, the sundeck has proven to be the ideal spot to host parties, friends and family.

Step aboard

When it comes to the interior design of project Elena, the interior shows our ambition to use natural themes in our designs and at the same time, the need to create the perfect homely feeling.
Omega Architects aimed to set up a relaxing environment with traditional forms and materials, using warm woods, such as natural flamed American walnut and light‐coloured oak. We used significant traditional elements in fixed joinery, like the cabinets and doors, characterised by classical mouldings.
